2021.07.13Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience
In order to let students to understand the beauty of Japanese culture though Japan tea ceremony, a two-day “tea ceremony experience” activity was held on June 30 and July 1.
On the day of the event, we specially invited tea ceremony teachers to show us how to perform the tea ceremony. The rules of tea ceremony are difficult and complicate, it will take a long time to master all of them.
After the teacher demonstrated how to perform the tea ceremony, the students did the preformation by themselves, and drink the tea in a correct way under the guidance. Some students were struggled because of the complicated process, but some students are so good to be praised by the tea ceremony teacher.
In addition, students also learned the correct way to enter the room and the etiquette of sitting. Some students maintain the correct etiquette from start until the end and take it seriously.
