CONCEPT

Waseda is a place of education not only for Japanese. It is a dream destination for international students who come to Japan to study hard with their great dreams.
With the aim of becoming “A bridge between the world and Japan” Waseda Keifuku Language Academy was founded in 2009 in Waseda-Natsumezaka.
“立志在日本、放眼干世界。追求真善美、造福全人類。”
This is a message that I want to convey to all international students.
“With a learning heart in Japan, have the whole world in view.
(Because of the convenience of the Internet and digitization is pursued today)
Pursuing truth, goodness and beauty while valuing culture.
Become a rich person that contribute to the people of the world.” is what it means.
Study abroad is only possible if you have the courage to take on the challenge of jumping into a new environment. In order to reach something new, you need to be prepared to give up something away.

Learning at Waseda Keifuku Japanese Language Academy, Looking Toward the Future
My time at Waseda Keifuku Japanese Language Academy was a valuable and unforgettable experience for me.
The school provided a flexible and efficient learning environment. The teachers supported me not only in learning Japanese, but also in many other areas, including university application planning, reviewing my statement of purpose, and considering my future academic and career path.
With the guidance and encouragement of my teachers, I was able to clarify my academic interests and future direction. I am currently studying in research laboratories at Waseda University and the University of Tokyo. While conducting my graduation research at the University of Tokyo, I am continuing to pursue my goal of building a future in science and academic research.
I am truly grateful to Waseda Keifuku Japanese Language Academy for its support and guidance. The experience I gained there has become an important foundation for my continued academic journey and future aspirations.

From the time I first arrived in Japan until my graduation, my teachers were always there to support me with warmth and care. Whenever I had difficulties with further education or daily life, the teachers always listened to me patiently and gave me thoughtful advice and support.
At school, I gained not only knowledge and valuable learning experiences, but also met many wonderful friends. The time I spent at the school has become a truly memorable part of my life. My Passion Led Me All the Way Here
My interest in Japanese literature and manzai comedy inspired me to make the decision to study in Japan.
During my preparation for university admission, my teachers supported me in many ways. They arranged opportunities for me to practice interviews, carefully reviewed and revised my statement of purpose, and provided thorough guidance for my interview preparation. Their support gave me greater confidence as I prepared for university admission.
At first, I wanted to pursue a career in education. However, through conversations with my teachers and continued reflection on my own interests, I gradually gained a clearer understanding of the fields I truly wanted to explore. In the end, I chose to major in a field related to literature and was successfully admitted to Meiji University. Through this experience, I came to realize that finding an academic path that truly suits you is an important step toward building confidence in your future.
Waseda Keifuku Japanese Language Academy is a warm and welcoming school where teachers and students have close relationships and students support one another. I hope that everyone who studies here in the future will find their own path and steadily work toward achieving their goals.
