2022.07.14Tea ceremony
A tea ceremony experience was held on June 30.
Many of the students were experiencing the tea ceremony for the first time and were very interested in watching the instructor prepare the tea.
The tea ceremony instructor taught them about the etiquette in the tea room and how to receive tea.
After that, the students actually experienced making tea by themselves.
The students were nervous, but managed to make tea by themselves while listening to the teacher carefully.
Each students had different impressions. Some students thought the tea was “Bitter!” or “It tastes good with Japanese sweets!”
It seemed to be a fresh experience for the students to feel Japanese culture, such as to enter a Japanese tearoom and make tea by themselves.
