🍵 2026 Tea Ceremony Experience for First-Year Students
Our annual tea ceremony experience was held this year with five Japanese instructors,
providing our first-year students with a valuable opportunity to experience and learn about Japanese culture.
This year, we placed a greater emphasis on active student participation. Before the event, students studied and researched the history and culture of the Japanese tea ceremony. By gaining an understanding of the cultural background beforehand, they were able to engage with the experience more deeply.
Through the tea ceremony, students learned not only about traditional Japanese culture, but also about proper etiquette and the use of polite Japanese expressions. The etiquette and communication skills they learned will also be valuable for their future studies and job interviews.
From preparation and research to hands-on experience, students had the opportunity to discover Japanese culture through the tea ceremony while learning the importance of etiquette and communication.
