2025.02.13Speech Contest

On February 12th, 2025, Waseda Kyofuku Language School held the vibrant and exciting “Speech Contest,” aimed at providing students with an opportunity to express themselves and enhance their communication skills.

The contest was divided into two sessions: one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, with 8 students participating in each session. Representatives from each class competed fiercely, showcasing their Japanese language proficiency. Before the contest began, the school president delivered an enthusiastic speech, emphasizing that language learning is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about cultural exchange. He encouraged students to express themselves with confidence and to embrace challenges.

After each participant finished their speech, they received feedback from teachers and answered questions from their classmates, which sparked stimulating discussions.

At the end of the contest, a “Best Question Award” was given to the student who asked the most insightful question, and among the speakers, the “Most Outstanding Award” and “Outstanding Award” were presented to those who demonstrated exceptional language skills and depth of thought.

This event provided a valuable opportunity for students to refine their self-expression skills and also fostered greater interaction and communication among students and faculty within the school. It was a resounding success.
